In Azure DevOps, one project can have multiple team boards, and each work item is always associated with a team board. In portfolio tool, there is an option to directly associate the available team boards in ADO with portfolio.

Impact:

1. The kanban phases are consistent in both systems.
2. System will only show the work items from the selected team boards.
3. Owner team is now mandatory in work item statement.
4. Teams configuration with portfolio is done from ADO integration page.
5. Only iteration path from the selected teams are shown.

How to do?

Go to Settings->Integrations->Azure DevOps

1. Click Sync teams to get latest teams from ADO
2. Choose the team from dropdown and update
3. Click Import Azure items to get latest items from the selected team.
